Features
Every element in Drift is procedurally crafted: connected sectors, jump lanes, dynamic signals, and a universe that breathes.
Drift endlessly through a procedurally generated universe with connected sectors, jump lanes, and trade corridors. Every region is unique, and every path tells a story.
Each region synthesizes ambient audio in real time: drones, harmonics, and textures that morph as you travel through nebulae and storm belts.
Encounter Void Whales, Nebula Jellyfish, derelict ships, and distress beacons. Your scanner detects life, signals, and anomalies across connected space.
Warp through dramatic hyperspace corridors to distant sectors. Manage fuel, plot waypoints on your star map, and follow signals through uncharted territory.
Experience
Drift isn't something you read about. It's something you feel. Here's a glimpse of the infinite.
The Journey
Drift meets you where you are. No tutorials, no onboarding. Just you and the cosmos.
Open Drift in your browser. No downloads, no accounts. The cosmos loads instantly and begins to breathe around you.
Open the star map to see connected sectors stretching across the galaxy. Set waypoints, follow jump lanes, and trace routes through uncharted space.
Warp through dramatic hyperspace corridors to distant regions. Your fuel reserves, hull integrity, and scanner power shape every journey.
Distress beacons, ancient transmissions, and anomaly signals pull you deeper. Each discovery is logged. The cosmos rewards the curious.

Our Philosophy
We built Drift because we believe digital experiences should feel as infinite and surprising as the natural world. No endpoints, no boundaries. Just an ever-unfolding canvas that responds to your presence.
Every star, sound, and shift of color exists because of you. Not pre-rendered, not stored on a server. Generated in the moment, for this moment, then gone. Like real starlight.
Drift is not an app. It's a place.
Browser-Native
No installs, ever
Real-Time
Generated live, not cached
Human-Centered
Built for presence
Questions
Drift is a living, generative cosmos of sound and light that you explore at your own pace. Every direction reveals new regions with unique visuals and synthesized audio. Think of it as a meditation garden made of stars.
Drift runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile. No downloads, no plugins. We recommend headphones and a dark room for the best experience, but it works beautifully anywhere.
The cosmos is procedurally generated using custom algorithms. Every region, color palette, sound texture, and atmospheric effect is created through mathematical patterns, not pre-made assets. No two experiences are identical.
As long as you want. There are no levels, no timers, no scores. Some people drift for five minutes during a break, others for an hour before sleep. Drift adapts to your pace.
Drift is a web-first experience that works on all devices. A dedicated mobile app with haptic feedback and offline support is on our roadmap for later this year.
Drift respects reduced-motion preferences, supports screen readers for navigation elements, and offers adjustable visual intensity. We believe contemplative experiences should be available to everyone.

Virgo holds over a thousand galaxies. They are too faint to see, but they are there.
